The House at the end of the block

Max was kidding around with his friends when they dared him to go to the old house at the end of the block. He was hesitant at first, but he knew that his friends would make fun of him if he didn't. The next day he went to the old house. He knocked on the door and it creaked open. Inside was an old woman with a bloody knife standing over a dead body. Max turned to the door to leave when suddenly, the woman said, "don't leave, the fun has just begun".
